I know nothing about Jimmy west but what I do know is this story has the same sleazy back bone of what happened to a commercial fisherman friend of mine. He also had the means to fight back and won after investing $200k in lawyers. They proved that the state lied to make up charges. The Investigator and the state fishery guy both admitted under oath that they didn't agree with the written law so they went with what they thought was right. It was so bad the judge didn't even let the jury deliberate on it. She threw out all criminal charges. law enforcement is getting corrupt and sleazy. Maybe its always been this way I don't know. They need to be held reasonable. Just like my friends case, they proved that the state lied under oath. so why weren't they charged with perjury?

In a more perfect world, some Alaska State Employees would get demoted or even fired. If it cost him $150,000.00 in attorney fees, you can bet that Alaska's total cost for investigation and state attorneys for prosecution is in the One Million Dollar Plus category, maybe even two million wasted on a case that they are lucky the State did not loose in an open trial. While I am strongly in favor of enforcement, I am opposed to some mid-level management making poor decisions on where enforcement funds are spent.

Being on tV is no help at all........Lying, even tampering with evidence isnt new at all.
You never truly know whos good anymore.
Heres some public knowlage from the news paper....

Im still awaiting a retrial, never day day in jail, either, but my life took a 180 degree turn when I reported a Troopers assault on a girl......now with 2 almost 3 audio forensic specialists reports that show that the evidence used against me tampered with, I'm hopefully 90 or so days away from retrial, something that wont go over very well for the State. I doubt the Troopers involved will even hear a word about it. Its been public knowledge for more than 2 years now,but much like the Catholic church and some frolicking priests, they just get transferred somewhere else.
I can tell you, being on TV has no advantages, and has sped nothing up on my troubles. , except now that Nat Geo dosent produce Alaska State Troopers, they shouldl have no problems televising my plight on the show, but other than exposing the lie, theres no advantage..If you can't Kill it with a 30-06, you should Hide.:topjob:

When any government body decides to target you it is a brutal ordeal. Kudos to Mr. West for fighting the good fight.Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-----WOW-----what a ride!

I'm an Law enforcement supporter as well, I by no means think any less of any hard working LEO. I was am EMT-1/ETT, Noorviks V. Fire Dept vice chief, a Red Cross damage assessment officer for the NW, and a 22 year volunteer for S&R, as well as a disaster planning commissioner for the Northwest Arctic Borough, so I have actually only had good professional officers around untill the AST attacked my daughter and the ABI lied and did nothing in court when the scientific proof of Felony evidence tampering was in their face and a matter of public record, and wrote about in the newspaper.....
Had this been handled appropriately, the exact same two officers wouldnt have been employed and became involved in a shooting death in Kotzebue shortly before my trial. Junie Nelson was the first Hunter, as I have ever heard, committing suicide by shooting himself in the stomach........prehaps Im wrong, but I am suspicious.
Again, in the news paper, so its no new revelation;

As in any grouping of people , there are bad one among them who are and act criminally, and theres those who aid and abet them, lie and look the other way, and they gotta go, they corrupt the system and make it very hard for public trust in law Enforcement, the 99% good officers have a harder time doing their job as well.If you can't Kill it with a 30-06, you should Hide.:topjob:
