  • The Hunt on The History channel

Yet another Alaska show called The Hunt. It is actually not that bad it is all about hunting.

Yeah, I didn't think it was "that" bad either. Even though after the one guy actually killed a bear, they didn't even let us see hardly any of it. Thought that was kinda strange. Still don't care for all the "drama" from the narrator...... "they realize that now the hunter may be the hunted". That sh*t gets so da*n old.....sheesh.
Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!

Not too bad but I too wish they would avoid the over narration and stop bouncing around so much

Bouncing around and repeating, There's only about 10 minutes of "information" the rest is repetition, typical of these shows.

The bouncing and repeating are for people who tune in late, or go off for a snack. Not that I watch that stuff...

Watched last night. I didnt think it was too bad. I do think it is way better than the Kodiak show. Like some said before it goes just a bit far with the narrator saying "the hunter is now the hunted" type of stuff. Over all pretty good. Beats the hell out of watching some 'good ol' boys' killing a little buck under a corn feeder. IMO

I thought it was for the "sound bite" generation who have the attention span of a chipmunk? Oops this post is to long for them.

The biggest detraction (IMO) was all the bear "vocalizations" and the accompaning facial expressions. One hunter looked he wanted to ask the guide for some TP, then decided it might be too late to ask.

Seems like every time they walk anywhere there is a bear roaring in the woods and the announcer will say "its out for blood" or some other silly think.

The woman who was hunting alone was cool.. did she get a bear? I fell asleep in the middle of the show last night.
