  • Forest FIRE season & Fall HUNTING.......

Shall we discuss Forest Fire, Tundra Fire, and the thick smoke that can make fall hunting nearly impossible. The Brooks Range is where I have had several nightmare hunts because of near zero visibility, and the climbing for mountains inhaling smoke. We have had (Roughly) four years of forest fires being a summer long problem, but if things weather wise don't change this "Could" be a very bad fire year.

I just wanted to bring this to the awareness of those new to Alaska either as hunter/visitors or newish to Alaska resident hunters.

So tell your Alaskan forest fire related experience. Or ask questions on this subject.
"Essential......to Prepping for Survival, is to be able to segregate, what you think will happen, from what you hope will happen, from what you fear will happen, from what is happening".
