22 miles untill we saw him, through trees, creeks, willows, hills and such, till he came out a creek, we saw him and promptly got stuck.
10 minutes and 5 miles later across wide open tundra, where He never broke stride at all, running full out after we sighted each other.
He was going up sucha steep slope he couldnt climb anymore and became a fairly easy target.
He was average size , a young Adult with sharp teeth and few scars, so Im of the thought his pack was close, and he wasnt a "lone Wolf", as most of those boys are old and quite scarred.
Some years I get quite a few Black ones, this year only a couple, and on this last hunt I saw none at all.
Then again, If I put out the effort and the ride is feeling good, I can get quite a few more than is needed and the wife will dry them up and save them, so maby the year after, I wont put much effort into Wolves at all.......just depends.
Glad you like the vids, I'm glad I found the SD card~~LOL!!~~
Ya, Amigo, Thanx for "nothing"!If you can't Kill it with a 30-06, you should Hide.:topjob:
