I dropped bait on the 1st went in to check it tonight and this guy was on the camera. I got 3 pics of him he came in on the 3rd stayed for about 10 minuites and hasnt been back since. He hardly took any bait at all. I made my barrel hole smaller this year went from about 12 inches to 5 maybe that made a difference who knows? Probably just not ready to eat a lot yet. Im hoping he just didnt like my vittles and moved on to someone else. Yeah wishful thinking I know, I hope he stays gone.

If he can't get food he probably won't hangout for very long. As the season moves on he'll start moving into different areas to chase moose.
