Anyone fish for tanners near Ketch? I'm thinking about building a few pots for them. I always seem to get some small ones in my shrimp pots. How would you target them down here? Water depth, bottom type etc...

I don't know about Ketchikan but in Homer deep and muddy is best.
I like 350+ feet.
I prefer the pyramid style pots the gear shed in Homer sells. Especially the 4x4 base size.
