catching cod from the bank?

were can the wife and i go and catch sum cods or chickens we are wanting to catch something out of the salt from the banks :question:

The most productive spot that Ive found was at the homer spit right be the land's end hotel.

Just toss a piece of bait out there and you will catch cod, pollock, flounder and some really ugly fish.

Not sure when you're going but in the summer there are always others there.
