    Anybody know if there is a run of reds in Paramanof Bay. I am curious and can't seem to find any info on adf&g. I can't seem to find much info on that area period and am headed there in aug.. Thanks in advance Jeff

    The ADF&G Anadromous Fish Distribution Mapper is your friend.

    Those three river systems with lakes flowing south to north (lower right in the image below) all have sockeye. I'm pretty proficient with this program, so give a holler if you can't figure it out on your own.

        Did a subsistence gillnet trip over there last summer. It's long way to go and an overnighter, but we were looking for a weekend getaway. I think we had the net in the water for 5 minutes and had 40 reds or so. Its not a big run, but doesn't get hit by the commercial guys very often either. Also picked up a king trolling and a few halibut. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you more info on the streams with reds.
