  • Fish Creek 20 miles south of Ketchikan

Looking for information on salmon runs and run timing for the cabin at fish creek. The cabin is pretty much booked solid this summer, is it fisherman targeting salmon or eco tourists using the trails into misty fjords wildernerss areas?
Does this stream support kings and if yes, when is the run window?
Same question for Coho and Reds
    Thanks for any help.

I fish Fish Creek in the spring and fall for steelhead, usually when I'm there in Oct you can see coho and and some humpies. Not sure what other runs come up it. I think I remember seeing dead chum and maybe dead sockeye along the shore, but can't say for sure.
Vegetables arenít food, vegetables are what food eats.

it's saltwater fishing: local boaters and fly-in kayakers that go there; I'm assuming kingfisherktn is correct about the coho entry into freshwater (October); I don't know personally - but haven't seen jack sheet in terms of cohos in freshwater around ktn in early september; but lotsa saltwater boats going around and coming back happy.

No kings, lots fo Coho's, some fishable numbers before Aug, but best from Sept 1 and on. Also great shrimping in that area.
Life's too short for an ugly boat
