    Lots of ice

Lake was all frozen on Sunday when I drove past, there is open water above the bridge for about 100 yds only.

Last year the ice went out May 2 on Skilak Lake and the week befoe on Kenai Lake. You may need to wait a couple of more weeks.
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.

There is some open water in westchester lagoon. But you might have to fight the ducks and geese to find a spot for your Scanoe.
