        Pike on the Noatak River

I love to fish for pike ! Here is my boy with a few monsters! We catch them in the 30-40 inch range all the time. Largest was 27 pounds!

        Nice!

fishin_ak, I have all ready gotten a ton of pms over the use of Tabasco. I think we should stop telling folks our trick. I think the possible harm to pike stocks across the state if folks started using Tabasco. Don't even think about talking about Crisco.

You're probably right Shrop, if we keep lettin folks in on our secrets, there won't be a pike left to catch.

If any of you all are interested in fishing for giant Northerns that Walt was talking about, let me know. PM me. I just started a fish guiding business on the Noatak River. Giant Northerns, all-you-can-catch Arctic Grayling, world-record Dollies and fiesty Chums.

You guys are kidding about Tobasco sauce, right??? I mean I know WD-40 works well, especially for halibut, but I've never heard of Tobasco sauce for pike.

What lures do you guys use in the weedy areas? I still haven't found one that works well yet.
