Your Favorite Fluorocarbon Mono Brand?

I am getting various responses from friends on their success (or otherwise) with fluorocarbon monofilament fishing line. Some are now totally against using it because of some bad experiences. I have done a little checking around like reading some of the "reviews" on the Cabelas web site and others and there seems to be a mixed bag with quality from different brands. I tried the "search" feature on this forum and didn't have any luck. I am currently tying some King trolling leaders with Maxima fluoro in 30# test and have been impressed with the ability to disappear once under the surface of the water.

Would anyone care to share both their most and least favorite brand names in the 15# to 30# test range? As long as this stuff has been available there ought to be plenty of opinions. Also - any links to other reviews on the web or in fishing mags would be appreciated. Thanks!

Me too, I usually use Seguar as well.

P-Line is awesome. as for regular mono Maxima is really hard to beat! I have used Maxima for all my leaders for a long time. It does dissapear under water with the green line they have.

Buying Seaguar Local

Hey guys-

I've been wanting to try out Seaguar, and the reviews here are making me think that's a good idea.

Are there places in Anchorage to buy it locally? When I've been there, I didn't notice it at Sportsman's or BJ.
