I am thinking of going on a trip to Circle on the weekend of July 4th. It will not be primarily a fishing trip but I always carry a rod with me anyways. Does anyone know what might be avalible then in the area? Thanks.

Fishing Circle on July 4th
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.

Not Much going on!
Well you do have the Chat to fish most of the length of the first part of the road but to be honest I have never been impressed with the grayling fishing the area at least not on the stream portion of the road. That is not to say they are not available just under sized IMO.
You do have a section of the Birch that can be fished from the road in two locations with ease which does have some pike, whitfish and grayling but again I have never been to impressed with the road side fishing.
On a side note if the weather is nice it is a great drive with lots of views!

I will be going up as part of a prospecting trip. Any fishing I do that weekend will be my secondary target. I think Birch and the Yukon will be the only ones I will have time to fish, unless we are near a lake with fish in it. I basicly wanted to know if there was a reason to bring something besides mt 5wt with me.It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.

Not sure, but the gold prospectin' is purdy good by cracky!!!!
I've only been there once and it's pretty high in the mountains so I think you may need to pick up a gold pan instead.

My gold pan will be my primary purpose, I was just wondering if there was any decent fishing too.It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.
