    Hey guys,

Got any room out there for a foursome of Pennsylvania fishermen???
We will be coming on the 17th of July and leaving on the 31st.

We will be fishing with Rick Serena out of Kasilof until the 26th.
My question is------ Where is a good place to get an RV in that area to do some more fishing??? I would like to stay on the Kenai peninsula, but not at one spot.
Also I will be traveling with 2 kids. 9, 16.
    Any info would be appreciated.

A seperate question----- Awhile back I was communicating with a fellow name "Roland on the River" I tried to send him an email, but it was sent back to me.
    Is he still around????

    Thanks Guys.

Most of the RV rental companies are based in Anchorage, so you may have to go there to pick one up.
One piece of advice is don't get the unlimited mileage package unless you plan to drive all over the state. Also check to see what is and isn't included with the rental. Some companies have started charging for coffee makers, toasters, BBQ's etc. Make sure you find out about incidental charges for generator use too. Some charge extra and some it's included in the vehicle rental.

My friends have used these guys with good success: http://www.greatalaskanholidays.com/

    Other RV rental companies include:

This should keep you busy for a while.

Roland is around. I got a pm from him last month.
If you have enough posts try sending him a pm.
Send him another email as well. Maybe the last one got lost in cyber space.

Great Alaskan Holidays is the best place in the state by a country mile.

They get my business EVERY time I need an RV.

        RV Rental Taxes

A couple years back there was a tax placed on the rental of RV's
Check the different areas that have units available - and ALWAYS ask about the additional taxes - in some cases they can be significant.
The same goes for rental cars and the high airport fees attached.
How stupid is it to be wasting tons of salmon and halibut as bycatch in the Bering Sea and then have the coastal villages hollaring they have no food? It's got to stop!

ABC is by far the best. I rented from great alaskan holidays and abc in the same month and was way more pleased with ABC. PM me for more.

I would also be interested in a day of fly out fishing, do you guys have any suggestions on that topic.

Call up Alaska West Air in Kenai. They have lots of good day trips.
