  • Rain'in & blow'in so i built a crab pot

Its friggin miserable out(like a nice day on the sound) so i built the first prototype of my crab pots. Its 40" on the bottom x 24" on top x 24" tall & it will nest on top of each other. I'm open for opinions??? I'll have it at the Wasilla Gun Show on sat & sun so please stop by and say hello.

my gf thought I was looking at pictures of abstract artwork...

But then she figured out what it was cause she's from the big island
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

      Great looking pot!

Is there any exposed steel, or is the metal vinyl coated?

Are you going to have them for sale this spring at the shows?

The body of the pot is all vinyl coated galvanized wire, the hoops at the top & bottom are steel but i'm thinking i may coat them with kel-cote to keep the rusting down. PM sent on your last question.

            Gear Shed Pots

Here is the picture of my Gear Shed pots you asked for Steve.
The picture is actually both pots stacked.
The dimensions are 4'x4' square at the base.
            36" tall .
Funnel roughly 17 1/2 "at the top.
Any chance you could give me a free pot to test next to these pots?
Since I already know where to find these crabs I could give you some good testimonials if they work.
