Fuller Lake

Hiking to Lower Fuller Lake is almost a sure thing, it's a nice hike, although uphill, tons of smaller grayling in the lake though. The trail to Fuller lake is marked, next to the Sterling Highway near the Russian River Ferry, within several miles I think.

How far are you willing to travel i.e. more than a couple of hours or something a little closer?

I'm headed up to the Kenai area late in August. Where is the closest place I'd have a decent shot at catching a grayling? I've got a few days so I don't mind traveling a bit.
