lakes near fairbanks for lake trout

Just getting in to ice fishing. Getting board of setting home all weekend in the winter
anybody here fished Birch Lake or Chena Lake !

There aren't any lake trout in Chena or Birch, just rainbows. Lakers can be found in Harding, otherwise you'll have to head south to Fielding, Summit or Paxon.
