Inserting images can be done 2 ways

uploading them or using a URL

    1. Click the "Insert Image" icon on the tool bar

    2. Choose an insertion method on the popup folder tabs

    3. Click ok

I believe there is a topic on the forum about inserting images.

          Just don't use photobucket!

It always tries to open a new window in my browser.

It's so much easier to see the pictures hosted by the forum.

Interesting that you say that. Do you mean that photobucket opens another window in your browser when you use photobucket's site, or when someone uses it to post a picture here?

I'm on iPhone with tapatalk app most of the time. Photobucket shows the small thumbnails in the app, buy you can't enlarge them without clicking. When you click them, it opens up photobucket in a browser window, which is filled with all sorts of ads and clickbait.

Versus the pictures that are hosted on the forums (or at least not on photobucket). With the tapatalk app, I can scroll though all of the pictures in the thread like a slide show.

It sounds like a minor gripe, I know. But the photobucket thing is annoying enough that I groan whenever it opens my browser and quickly try to close the browser window before it loads everything. I have literally had the thought "well I thought I was interested in that rifle sale, but not gonna happen because he used photobucket."

I think I've posted (whined) about it before.

Interesting point. It seems that the forum software and photobucket are swapped as to when each shows the photos full size without clicking. I've always used photobucket when posting pictures in the forums because the photos show up full size and inline with the text, but you're right - that's not the way it works via tapatalk. Interesting glitch.
