Check out the seward resort. Its a MWR resort. I worked there for many years. They run low priced halibut charters. If I were your go on July 1st. Most of the boats go for Lings that day plus halibut. Maybe get some salmon to

Im stationed on the JBER elmendorf side. I have a few friends here but am also looking for a few good fishing partners. If you would like we can exchange numbers and when either one of us goes we can try to get together. I dont know much about fishing either but maybe if two inexperienced people put there heads together we can catch at least one fish Im sure.

I am not to sure when I will hit up the water....I usually start in the lakes when the ice is out in a float tube, and then I hit up the streams when the fish move threw.........add me to your friends list and I will let you know when I go.

As for the POG thing Mark.....LOL no not poor old guy.......pretty good though. I was just giving duckhunter a hard time. I have no problems fishing with any one in the military past or present......and I am not MOS specific either.

i have only been in alaska for a few months and havent really found anyone to fish with. i am not very experienced but i love to fish. i also am not the type to get all mad if we go out somewhere and dont catch any. if anyone would be interested in letting me tag along for some fishing i would appreciate it. i love stream fishing and i know that the water will open up soon for that
