Taking kids fishing is one of my favorite things to do. Last year a 13 year old girl wanted to go out with her other four teen friends for her birthday. What an awesome fun day.

Great photos. A couple of kids are planning to ride thier horses into my place and help stack firewood this summer. We will head down to the Northfork by my property to wet lines. Great to see kids enjoying fishing and being outside.

We don’t allow video games, so fishing takes a distant second place to sneaking screen time at friends house or school. But we’ll keep going anyway[emoji6]

"Kids" to me anymore are the young Soldiers and Airmen I take to get their first taste of Alaska fishing. And yes, there are a lot of smiles involved...from all of us!

Ha! Love that. Reminds me of when my youngest wanted to eat one whole.

                    It starts like this:

But man, does it ever go fast! This is from this past weekend, and the oldest is turning 12 today. (And yes, the ling cod was released unharmed.)
