Last night the smoke was so thick, it actually got extremely dark at around 7 at night. A strange dark... yellowish orange. The birds were still out eating from the wife's feeder, and they were having a hard time flying :nyanya: Then at around 9 it got light again... very strange. Earlier in the day, the smoke was so thick in the air, that visibility was really limited, and a little ash fell too. It was an orange fog all over... you couldn't see the sun either, but light was still there. Today I'm not noticing the smoke... the sky is grey but nothing like yesterday.Comment

Anyway, wife called a little bit ago, and there is FIRE ON THE STERLING SIDE OF THE KENAI RIVER, AT KENAI KEYS! I have hear conflicting stories on the nature of the fire. One guy says that it is a residential fire, and my wife says she was told it is the wildfire and that they are EVACUATING KENAI KEYS, then possibly knocking on doors all the way down Feuding Lane.
I hate to be the one to spread a rumor that's not true, so please do what you need to do to confirm this.Comment
