Still in the 20's in Kuparuk so I would guess they are still frozen up.
I have not driven by the river but would guess it is still iced over.
A friend of mine drove over from prudhoe yesterday and will probably see him again tomorrow so I will be sure and ask."The closer I get to nature the farther I am from idiots"

The ocean is solid as a rock out here at Endicott/Liberty.
Plenty of snowy owls cruising around though.

No open water along my travels between Deadhorse and West Dock. Sag was locked up tight as of Sunday, haven't been across since then. Grass is starting to show through in a lot of places, and plenty of waterfowl showing up. Short term forecast calls for highs in the upper 30's.

Most of the char don't show up till late July through August anyway.
Of course grayling are always there.
