Though I would share some droppings from the vise over the past 6 months.

Silver Hilton at a funky angle

No namers, in October caddis colors and steelhead crack (purple) - both dry-line crushers

        nice ties, G...
say, how'd those Intruders on Waddingtons fish on your coastal trip? Any useful tricks for securing them in the vise?? Better than tubes?

LI - The blue stuff is rhea. Hard to find, easy to tie with, moves like a drunken monkey in the slightest current.

Jock - The intruders fished OK. I got blown out of a couple places I wanted to fish them, and ended up getting more fish on smaller stuff. I did get one nice fish on a Black/Orange, though. As for the vise, they are easy - as long as you have a rotary vise. Not better than tubes, just different...Easier to tie on, easier to true in the water.

                  Beautiful stuff G.

What are you using for hackle on your "no namers"? Those things look killer.

AKGloomis -I actually got that particular batch from you.

For those that need it, Mossy's does in fact have it.

Wyo- The hackle on the top one (brownish) is half-clipped natural AmGold center, and the bottom one is unclipped natural Amherst center.

It was the one on top that really had me stumped, but I see it now. Very cool. Thanks!
