    Interesting....If nothing else hits it I bet money silvers in Sept will tear it up!!

      dude... that's sweet! It's like a Thunder Creek on 'roids.

          I think the fish will appreciate the fatness.

          IMHO, you should try to clean up the sides, make the hair come down to the midway dorso-ventral point to cover up the thread wrapping...either that or use lateral scale or some other flash element to cover that up and add some flicker.

            So i tried cleaning up the sides, turns out it was a pain in the butt, so i took out the thread wraps in the back and threw some pink down the side. "THUNDER CREEK ON 'ROIDS"-I like that!

                  love the red octo hooks but I'm not sure if they're necessary... seems like most big fish would try to munch those smolt head-first... but I dunno, I'm not a fish, so hard sayin not knowin..

                    I really like the second version you tied up, would be cool to see the recipie!

                    That will hunt lakers this spring right after ice off as well......
