There are a lot of specials going on right now for things in the tour industry - I would schedule now and ask about DISCOUNTS.
Maybe google Healy Alaska and see what comes up - it only about 8 miles away and the prices area little better. Also contact the Alaska Railroad ticket office - they can schedule anything you need and know the tours that are available.How stupid is it to be wasting tons of salmon and halibut as bycatch in the Bering Sea and then have the coastal villages hollaring they have no food? It's got to stop!
