Field photo of Thunder Creek Smolt pattern?

AKPM, didn't you post a field action photo of one of your smolt patterns in the mouth of a Rainbow somewhere? Was that a Thunder Creek?
It was a cool photo. Might have been the Leopard Trout thread, not sure.

    Great smolt flies.

Sounds like a plan, I'll look at the cape see what I can find,

the cone head thing is a diver (popper turned backwards) which is pretty sweet they work better for larger size smolt like sockeye and chinook but not great imitating little smolt like pinks, I wish G_smolt would post a tutorial so I could figure out how to tie it.

What's the advantage of the cone-head-thingy?

Looking forward to seeing those floaters...sounds like they'd be fun when the bite is on. You spin 'em huh? I would have thought to use foam or something.

I don't need a whole cape...but I'd trade ya a sixer of homebrew for a couple dozen nice ones w/ no splits Got a couple rods in the works in need of some inlay feathers.

No doubt. Brad and the guys at Alaska Fly Fishing Goods are great to deal with. Got the best egg sucking leeches I have ever seen from them for a recent float trip in NW Alaska. Got a 14 pound dolly on one of those flies. The unusual thing about it, aside from just being pretty as hell, it was tough. Caught ten or more fish on each one of those esl's. Customer service, high quality procucts, great selection of flies for Alaska, awesome website, etc.. What more could you ask for? Their website it below for anyone that has not been there. The actual shop is in Juneau.

Nice ties AKPM. I think I'll have to add some sliders to my arsenal.

    Some of my own...
