1st King on fly

Today went out with my boy for sum c/r in the Parks Valley. Got my first King ever 42inch .maybe 30+lbs

It was way better than fighting with spinning rod. you can feel the power. Shout out to my buddy Will for making the fly for me. Hook another the very next cast. My 8wt got a good work out.me too, man my arms are sore

Fly pics up closer. size 2 hook. owner the original hook was a Tro Kar but under heavy pulls and some two foot flights by the heavy king the hook started to straighten out.
