OK, now I am impressed, wow. Can you explain your setup, You must be using some kind of a cross brace for there rear 4 wheeler tires to set on, right? also is my boat is the 1875 extreme shallow with the Jmax engine. Is that what yours is. I DEFINATLY wanna do this, I have a couple of good islands that I would love to get my wheeler over to for hunting. If you have time can you explain how you are set doing this, thanks

Mine was a 2175. No idea how or if a wheeler will fit in a 1875. Nothing special to putting a wheeler in a 2175, just back it in. A couple of short chunks of 2x6 from the front bow storage to the floor makes it easier to get out as it is a big step for the rear tires to climb up.

My load method looks just like Crumm's except I'm going from the shore to the boat. I don't have any pictures over here of it though.

They do have a couple of issues. Being a fresh water heater they
can freeze up on late fall hunting trips overnight and burst the
heater core. You need to drain them at night.
Also river debbrie can clog them and cause the exhaust housing to
overheat and melt the wiring harness above them.( the return water
          cools the exhaust )
If the over heating damages any exhaust gaskets or the housing the bill can run $1,000.00 to $2,000.00.
Being an after market heater your engine warranty will not cover this.
NOTE: This is the same heater used in the Sport Jon boats.
You can get the heater, they just want you to understand the problems that can arrise and how to bypass the heater if necessary.
All of the new Phantoms using a SPJ come with a specially made heater core that is self draining. The old style must be drained manually.

The heaters on both boats are the same. The Boat Shop does not have the factory install them because they can cause engine damage if they become clogged, frozen or the thermastat fails. Keep in mind they are fresh water heaters. This will interupt the water flow from the exhaust housing causing an overheat of exhaust housing which can melt the wiring harness above it and possibly damage the exhaust cone. There are no overheat alarms for that section of the motor. Any damage to the motor caused by the heater is not covered under warranty as an after market item (heater) has been installed on the motor. That being said the heaters work great. But if you are cruising and your heat goes cold check it out. They are easy to bypass if necessary. When hunting late season make sure to drain the heater core at night if it drops below 32░. You should have drain caps installed under the dash.
P.S. The Boat Shop will install a heater if you want one and understand the risk.

Sorry, I know this post is old but I can't "not comment". fk 107 has obviously never driven a Riddle! I had an XS before my Riddle Marine boat and there is absolutely no comparison. Don't get me wrong, I truly loved my XS but there really is no comparison when it comes to strength. I've hit boulders that would have literally torn the bottom out of my XS. Just my experience.

Doesn't make one better than the other, Just opinions on what they prefer. Kinda like a GMC 1500, Chevy 1500, Ford F-150, Dodge 1/2 ton. All depends on preference. You will find guys that will tell you one is way better than the other, but that is all opinion. It is all about the ability to drive them that matters!
