Ok all you power boat experts I have a 20' lund with a 50 hp Yamaha prop which I will post a picture at the end. I am new to power boating the only time I've ever run anything is a jon boat with a jet on the tikchik. I would like to know what rivers would be easy for me to get started on I live in Anchorage. So I don't need to know about rivers near Fairbanks quite yet. Do you think the big sue little sue down river from burma keni or what? Any info would be greatly appreciated. ok here goes my atempt at a picture.

Sweet boat!!! That's one of the nicest looking Lund's I've seen.

I wouldn't hesitate to take that boat out to the lower Knik, Big Su, 20 Mile, or Kenai. But I have some boating experience. If you know what a deep channel looks like you will be fine on any of those rivers. Personally, if the boat turned out to be dead nuts reliable, I would even take it to the Copper for some dip netting

Have you thought about throwing a jet on that outboard?

If you've run the Tikchik, especially up into or beyond the "canyon", you can run pretty much anywhere, water level permitting. Oz
