  • Trying out Photobucket

Thought I would try out Photobucket with some pics from last year. Actually this is the second try. The first one didn't work because you can only post 4 pics at a time.

Seems to be working. My kids like the cots, too. I need to keep some of that glacial ice on hand all year. There is nothing like it.

                      Denny,

Very nice pictures. It should get everyone chomping to go out again. How many hours are on your motor at this point? Have you had any problems or lessons learned from this setup? It looks like you two with your kicker in the down position and your outdrive in he up to stop position, is this right?

The boat I tested had the same interior throttle control that yours does. Mine came with a different one, I think because they updated the electonic controls and I definately like your version better. Mine has a neutral lock like outboards typically do that can get in the way when trying to change things fast. It comes across as an enhancement from the lawyers (liability issue).

I am going with the King inflatable and the Honda 2.5hp as well. I assume that yours is the 20", right?

I look forward to seeing you out next summer!

I only have about 20 hours on the motor. I got the boat in mid-September and was only able to take it out for two weekends. I didn't experience any problems but am still in a learning mode. Every thing works as intended and envisioned when I worked up the layout design. The boat design is excellent and very capable in heavy seas.

Yes I tow with the outdrive up. It would drag otherwise. The kicker won't so I keep that down when I tow. The dingy moter is a 2.0 hp motor and it is a long shaft. You need the long shaft for the AK Series rafts. I don't think Honda makes a 2.5 horse.
