Talkeetna river conditions

Ran up to the start of the canyon just below Disappointment creek on sunday. better have your water reading goggles on. the flow dropped from 7200gps on saturday to 5,000 on sunday. that was an awesome run. The river is running so clear you can see the sand on the bottom about 4' down

Ran it last weekend the CFS has almost doubled since then. i touched down below larson creek once. between clear and larson creek the river has changed some from last year. Still a little skinny below clear creek

I've been running it for a week or so. The only place I've touch bottom is getting out of the public boat launch. Other than that if you're running a jet and pick your channel's you shouldn't have any problems. Not sure why, but the Sheep doesn't seem to be adding much water. The Talkeetna is very clear for this time of year.

If you've got a jet and you've ran that river before, I say go run it...

Not sure how far you plan on running, or your experience level, but you do know that the talkeetna has some BFR's, and a lot of them right?

Anyone have any current info on Talkeetna river conditions? Thinking about heading up that way this weekend. Thanks.
