  • Putting HB back on trailer ??

How do you folks put your HB back on the trailer after a day of fishing or what Evah ? Do some drive it on....or like me ,just float it over the trailer and hook up the winch and crank.....but the windy days are a *****. Thanks for any video or input

    Hey Nessuck.... been awhile.

I have tried the drive on method, but that seemed to be too much work, and walking the rail on the trailer was not easy.
So, my go to method is to back the trailer deep enough to let me rope pull the canoe onto the trailer.

2 sets of guide on's with flat bunkers work the best with a winch , SID

My HB is still on the rack but hopefully this week it'll be on the trailer.......I use a standard boat trailer the same as I use for my 18' Lund. Large wheels are a must for these backroads. Mine is 2K capacity.

Years back I thought my 19' Grumman was a substantial canoe but on the rack next to my HB there is a huge difference.
