We've talked about it at coffee a couple times. Three of we HB owners are striking out on a 10 day trip next week. Perhaps one of our passengers will get the urge to be an owner.

We prefer Yukon Territory rivers and lakes for lack of tourists. Goldrush historical sites are of interest. Fort Selkirk is worth spending a day but only if you have read
        Campbell of the Yukon.

Upper Yukon River, Teslin Lake and Teslin River, Pelly River, Little and Big Salmon Rivers to name a few.
        Salmon are few and beat-up.

Scottie Creek, on the this side of the border, can get you into pike country and away from tourism.

Most of this can be done with a 16' canoe but we're old guys with worn out shoulders and we like a comfortable camp.

When you're at Fort Selkirk, have a look at my mothers old place, the RNWMP detachment. That was her home back in the late 30s, 40s and early 50s.
          Fighting gravity is never cheap.
