Default Willow Creek

Went to Willow Creek for a nice afternoon of fly fishing with a few buds. Was slow for the first few hours - but all three of use ended up catching... snapping pictures of .... and then releasing some beautiful bo's. Best one was a good 22-24" seen in the images below. Olive green Wooly Buggers seemed to do the trick for all of them.

Default sand lake pike...don't kill them

it's fun to have lakes with good fising in them. they will kill off sand lake and the pike will be back.

here's some new york fish. A 10lb brown from lake ontario and a purty steelie. This year was a banner year for steelhead upstate. Nothing compared to what you guys get, but still lots o fun

Posted on the Ship Creek thread but figured I'd add to this one. My first king 5/31 and my sons first fish of the year a couple weeks back. 3 years old and he out fished me that day, landing 4 trout to my 3.

Default Pics of this summers "keepers" so far

1) 22" Fatty Bow from a Lake near Willow...


2) 18" Grayling from Sheep Creek, caught on a leech, measured and released


3) Decided to fish Hidden Lake on the KP yesterday on the way back from Homer, first time fishing there and I lucked out! 27" 7lb laker. his dorsal fin is bitten off and his stomach was empty!?? I was trolling a #4 Mepps Aglia about a 150 feet behind the boat with no weight...
