    Default Reports for Juneau?

I'm in town and starting my planning. Was just wondering if anyone was having any luck anywhwre. Anything happening from shore at DIPAC or Fish Creek/Pond?

People have been catching fish from the dock at DIPAC. I haven't heard any reports about the fish creek pond, but the trollers in Fritz cove/Auke Bay have been catching a few, so I imagine there's some kings starting to nose into the pond.
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Icy Straits west of Juneau has Kings. This one from a week ago and another caught later the next week off the dock at the lodge I'm going to this weekend. I'll be there Sunday through next Saturday. 5 king limit for non-res this year in that area. I may or may not get a chance to post while there but will when I return on the 19th or 20th.

I'll be in the same area next week. I expect to be fishing Homeshore on Monday and then head into Glacier Bay for halibut. Weather permitting I'll then head for the open ocean for kings. If bad weather or no fish, I will be back inside. I'll try to post too.

Kings are about as good as it gets, in SE AK, if you are anywhere near the migration route.

Plenty of kings off of Deer Harbor right now. Mostly early limits for the guys I talked to. Fish seem to be averaging 12# - 16#. Lots of fishing activity along Homeshore. I will check that out tomorrow. Talked to 3 guys that brought 12 halibut to the boat (kept the 3 dinks allowed down here) fishing on the horseshoe outside of Glacier Bay.. Fish were 20# to 80#. Average was probably 35#. Very little activity in Auke Bay, even though there were ~30 trailers i the parking lot. Many were triple axle, so I expect those bigger boats were fishing Homeshore or further West.
