Default Nenana river above Carlo creek

I was not able to find a good write up on the float from the Denali highway down to Carlo creek. Is it runnable in a raft this time of year? I have a 14'3 Aire drawing about 3-4" of water.

I would call Denali Raft Adventures ask for either Jim the owner and or Tom assistant they would be a great source of information concerning that river they run it in several locations several times a day. 1-888-683-2234, Great people great business. not saying they want to be bothered for tons of information but Jim and or Tom are both resonable people and are normally willing to help.

I've run this a couple of times in early June in the past and it's never been a problem. Flow at Healy shows the river is already at medium-high levels, so I think you will be fine even if you can't get one of the local whitewater guides to give you first hand intell. A friend crossed the Denali Highway two weeks ago so I know the road is open and in reasonably good shape. Enjoy -- it's a good early season trip.
