AFTA is based out of Palmer and is affiliated with the national organization, Fur Takers of America. AFTA has a chapter in Juneau and is actively soliciting chapters in any other city/village in Alaska that has two or more trappers residing there. For more info on the two organizations, please check out their respective websites. ATA is based out of Fairbanks and is affiliated with the National Trappers Association.
