    Default Shrimping Near Latouche?

I'm heading out bear hunting with my dad on the weekend of the 20th and one of the places we were thinking about going was the south part of the sound around Latouche. It would be nice to soak some pots while we're out but I haven't heard about anyone shrimping out around that area. Is the shrimping any good out that way or should I leave the pots at home?

    Thanks for the help.

I have not had much luck down that far. We usually get enough to eat on a daily basis but not large quantities. I'd bring 'em but I would NOT let them get out of sight once you drop them. There is a lodge down there that has "sticky fingers" and has been caught by the troopers with stolen gear in his posession.
Good luck, whack some bears and bring your halibut gear too. Some great spots between Montague and LaTouche.
