    Default Seward charter question

I don't have much experience in the Seward area but I have a friend who wants to do a combo charter around the 7th of July. Can anyone offer comments about: 1) Should I be concerned that high tide is 6 AM and almost 7 PM? 2) Is it too early to find Coho at that time?

The answers to your questions is no and no, don't worry about the time of the tide and a good charter captain can get on silvers in early July, the thing you should be concerned about is booking with a good charter ASAP as I am sure they are filling up. Do you have a charter outfit in mind already?

in my experience as a Charter owner/operator July always booked up full, first, then August, then June and May filled up as it went.. July and August are big months for repeat clients from outside coming back... you might be a little late to get booked with the more popular charters as we speak... or the date you want may not still be available... early July is a GREAT time to be fishing out of Seward..

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and experience. I'll pass the information on to my fishing partner and see where we go from there.
