Just got back from doing a little ground stalking and screwing around in the woods in and around Unit 13A.
Conditions: Grounds are clear around the glacier, minimal snow in small areas but mostly dry and clear with fresh green foliage sprouting. LOTS of moose (we actually walked around a bend and came within 45ft of a nice bull moose with rack already in the growing phase. Also picked up a nice young moose rack shed as well while walking around. Ptarm and rabbits were all over the place. A few bear tracks were seen but mostly moose.
Was a awesome day to get out in the bush and do some walking.
