    It's definitely not a cutthroat, bow maybe, steelhead more likely. All the other creeks around Yak get small runs of steelies too.

    Pics a little dark but it looks like a steelhead to me.
    I would say it's that fishes first return from the salt.

    I think it is a small Steelhead. I remember catching them in the Snake River many years ago.

    Not a cutthroat. I couldn't find the pic I have of one, but this is a pretty good one. Notice how the spots go down to the belly area...

    I say it's a one year steelhead.The Rouge River in Oregon has an entire run of "one salters" that's very popular every spring.Absolutely NOT a cut-throat ,totally wrong markings.
    And nice on te Bar-b-que...........nice fish.

    I'm with the others who said its definitely NOT a cut. Markings are way wrong.
