    Default Griz in the Sound

Do you see many Brown Bear on the mainland of PWS? I know that some of the islands have them, but what about the mainland and do you ever see them before the season closes?

I have seen them on the eastern side on the mainland during the spring season. There are pockets in the Sound other than the eastern side that you can find brownies. You better know your GMU boundaries.
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.

At the head of Fidalgo Bayon the East side of the Sound. A couple of brownies have been shot there that I know of.
Otherwise we typically see blacks in most areas.
