Had a great time out with Skybust today. The river is flowing good and pretty easy to run. Only pumped mud once, but I guess that's what I get for following too close in shallow water. Hope the Deshka opens up soon.

I'm heading to the knik on Sunday, 05-08-2011. Be at the access about 10am if anybody wants to join me. The waters coming up so hopefully we can get a little further up river beyond the the upper bridge. First time to get the wife out in the new boat. She will either love it or hate it. Of course I think she will love it...."fishon"...

If I didn't have to work Sunday I'd love to go. We had a blast yesterday and the water is great right now. It's really easy to keep in the channel. Plus there several little side channels to play in. I'm sure she will love it. Just try to keep it floating the first time out. Nothing worse than getting stuck with the wife's first time out. (I did that, not a good thing) HA HA
