    Default Kepler Bradley Report

Took a drive by the Kepler Bradley system...
    It's getting there!

P.S. I also feel the need to defend myself a little here... I really enjoy lake fishing, but I also fish moving water just as much - I don't know where this crap about me being "out of my element" if I'm not on a lake came from (not naming names or anything Muzzy, I'm just sayin'...)

Won't be long for yooze guys huh?
We're still driving on and drilling through 4+ feet of clear black ice.
I doubt we will have any open water before the last week of May the way things are going this year.

Ha. Showing a picture of this lake is probably about as damaging as showing a picture of the Kenai.

Baxter learned what 'thin ice' was though :-P
Poor Baxter. That dog just has a terrible life.

I imagine Long Lake being in a hole as it is, (Bradley/Keply complex) will be another week or 2 before we can kick around in tubes. Has anyone been out the to check on it in the past couple days?

Long is still pretty solid... I wouldn't bother with it anyway though. Crappy fishing.

Which is tomorrow... If it was thawed I would be there first thing in the morning! To look for pretty rocks or something. The fishing would be terrible...

I am not against the flippin kenai, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering every other stream... ~Paul O'Neil~/~Wyo2AK~

The last two days have been pretty dramatic on the lakes around Wasilla. There's quite a few now with fishable water around the shorelines. If Long's a bust, there's plenty of others to try!
