    Lightbulb Deshka Landing

Summer season permits are on sale at Deshka Landing until April 1 @ $350.

Who here wishes the State would get off their butts and get the boat launch done at Willow Creek this year?

I think Anchorage fears the bridge and Deshka Landing fears the Luanch. All fisherman loose either way.

We always used the launches at Willow bridge campgrounds. $5 to park and $5 to launch, $10 isnt bad wouldnt you say? But the water was shallow, so shallow we could walk across the shoot into the creek in tennis shoes. The airboat skimmed right over the top of it though. Yes, I know, ****eded airboats........ I am sure prices have changed and water has re-routed but it sure was a steel at the time compared to Deshka landing.

Little too shallow for me. Nothing wrong with airboats. Just a little load sometimes, but so are some jet boats I have seen. I think a good leson learned last year on the Deshka.

Ill be happy when we get another launch. You look at all the people with a season pass for the deska landing man they dont much for up grades to the launch or anything else.

Launching off the end of the dike is interesting when the water is low.
