Thread: Kodiak or Lake Clark

    Default Kodiak or Lake Clark

Parents are flying in to Anchorage on June 9th and before coming up to Fairbanks we want to do one 3-4 day weekend out of Anchorage (June 9th - 12th). Their top two are Kodiak and Lake Clark. Probably one day of the weekend would be dedicated to some fishing either charter or just some fun lake action. Other days meant for possible wildlife viewing and things like kayaking/canoeing. Any thoughts from the best forum in the world?

if it was me, i would choose the lake clark area for sure. Just my two cents worth. But i am also a huge fan of trout fishing and the lake clark area as a whole.

if they care about salmon go to kodiak, if not lake clark. For non fishing I'd take Kodiak hands down...
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
