    Post Upper Kenai water

Holy crap is it low...I mean LOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I would not try to float my drifter from the bridge down or sportsmans... I would work the bridge and pull out there...I was just down there today....

your boat bottom can take it but do you want to drag your boat for most of the day...

    Just my opinion

Anybody know if Skilak is still iced up? I'd guess it probably is, but hoping it might be open.

Was down there today. Skilak still locked up. Kenai is getting real close with a little bit of open water near the Sunrise Cafe and the rest of the lake looking very rotten. A good stiff wind and a few more days of warm weather oughta bust it up nicely.

    Thumbs up

This time of year Chuck, fill your raft up with Helium gas, then when you get in the shallows, just get out of the boat and lead it over the shallows....
sheesh,,, thought you already knew that trick

I think I saw him down at Cooper Landing on Sun. Me and a few buddies were down there fishing and I think it was him that stopped and asked how the fishing was.
