One of the nicest colored wolverines I've seen for a while. I called this one "While you were away".

Beautiful animal. Sure wish whoever made the box would have taken the time to miter the corners on the bottom like they did on the top frame.

But that's just me......unfortunately my carpenter eye goes right to that......lol. Maybe some corner trim to cover up those end cuts?

I considered it 4mer, but my chop saw is only 10" I suppose I should upgrade.lol.

I liked the rustic look of the rough cut cedar though, so it suited me.

Hard to tell....is that 1x4 cedar? If so, I use a 12" now, and it's been quite awhile since I used my old chop saw, but if I recall, a 10" chop saw will cut the miter. You just need to put a piece of scrap along the fence to move the work piece out a bit to utilize the full depth of the blade at a 45......comprende?

BTW.....great idea with the pack and moose shed. Again..... gorgeous animal...!!!

It is 1x6 .. Just wouldn't fit under the blade. What I really want is a 12" sliding compound mitre saw.

Thank you! He is a phenomenal wolverine. My customer wanted to utilize the pack and shed antler to commemorate his father, whom he used to do a lot of shed hunting with.

Yes, 1x6 won't work on the 10" so you do you need one of those. Maybe keep and eye on Craigslist. Or....usually SBS will have a tent sale during the summer sometime. I bought my 12" Dewalt comp/slider w/stand and laser for just the price of the saw. I just kept walking away and they didn't want me to do that so they threw in the laser and stand to make the deal........lol

Caribou in velvet with detachable antlers. The hunter was fortunate the velvet could be saved. There are a couple spots that will need some touch up.

    Hey thats a nice Buck
I think about hunting when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day. And I think about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm doing it. ~credit to Carl Yastrzemski~

    Default 1/2 lifesize goat

Big nanny mountain goat, wasn't putting any holes in my backdrop so the wall will have to suffice.
