Default How is Sutton or King River now?

Thinking of riding somewhere other than Jim Creek, anyone know what Sutton or King River looks now?

Kings River thaws slowly because it's an east-west trail with mountains on both sides and gets little sun until later in the summer.

Jonesville faces south, as does Puritan. Those tend to thaw early in the season. We haven't got the ATV's out yet this year, but driving up to Eureka last weekend the snow looked to still be about 6-8" deep next to the highway at Jonesville. Puritan is probably impassable right now- just getting over the snowberm onto the trail itself would be challenging and it didn't appear that anyone had tried it yet and it looked like the snow might be a bit deeper there.
"If snowmachiners would adopt the habits of riding one at a time and not parking at the base of avalanche prone slopes, the number of fatalities would likely be whittled by at least a third, if not by half." ~ Jill Fredston, in the book Snowstruck, In The Grip Of Avalanches.
