    Question Yamaha fuel management Gauge

Good evening. Is Yamaha fuel management gauge compatible with Honda outboard motors?

    Default Gauge

I myself am looking into doing the same thing....I removed one from service, and I'm looking into placing it on a boat with twin hondas. Looking at all the pieces and parts -it should-. The wiring is pretty straight forward. I should have it done by next month.

    Default Don't know about Yamaha

But I have a navman fuel monitor that feeds into the plotter on my Honda 150 and I love it. Pays for it self very quickly. Lets you see how small changes on the throttle saves allot of fuel, gives you range and that is nice when the weather gets nasty and you want to know if you can make this or that port. Nasty weather can cut your range down considerably, I tend to watch my fuel screen more than most of the others. Gives me burn rate, speed, and a few other reading.
